Planet W is a new science-fiction musical and intergalactic love story… A small-town couple on the verge of a relationship crisis are abducted by a race of zany aliens hellbent on destroying the Earth! Can the star-crossed lovers save their future together and the fate of humankind in time?!

We have been developing this musical for the past 3 years. I co-wrote the story, music and lyrics with Franco Giacomarra. Marc David Wright is our director/producer. Last year on April 8, we staged a concert version of the musical with a live band and some actors reading from books. This time around, we are staging a more fleshed out version of the musical for Ars Nova’s ANT Fest for up-and-coming works in New York on June 14.

We are presenting Planet W in the style of radio dramas of old — à la War of the Worlds but with songs mixed in. The show is being produced by The Village, an organization spearheaded by Caroline Porter Shriver, Marc David Wright, and Dana Seach. It’s sure to be an out-of-this-world performance, so get your tickets now! Tickets are available now at a name-your-price sliding scale.
